South Trip on a Sunday

We went to the Sanctuary of Mama Mary at Simala, Sibonga today. The place really changed a lot since the last time we were there. Mama Mary's house is spacious already though the construction isn't done yet. It's like a castle. That wouldn't be possible if it weren't for all Mama Mary's devotees.

Then we got lost in Argao looking for the beach we used to go to. Haha. We ended up staying at some park in Argao. :)) Better luck next time.

Beermen

I've always loved Basketball and I've always been a huge fan of the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA. I grew up watching their team and all. So whenever they come here in Cebu to play or whatever, I'll always grab that chance to see them!!

So last friday, they were here for a Charity game against the CESAFI All-stars. I watched their game with good friends, Kim and Ron. :D

They were all adorable!!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take good pictures with them since we were at the Lower box not in the Ring side. Boo~ Here are some pics...

I love to Read

I was able to read and finish two books this month. Ever since I always loved to read but I wasn't really serious about it until now. It all started when I always go to National Bookstore after my OJT shift scanning for books that caught my attention. It's mostly about love though. Haha. I've always been a self-confessed hopeless romantic but I never really show it to people openly. I'm just not comfortable showing and expressing my feelings and all. :P

Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
This is actually the first book I own. Haha. Bought it late August since I was soo interested with the story and aside from the fact that it's a Best Seller. While I was reading it, I found myself falling in love with Elizabeth Gilbert as an author and as a person. She never fails to amaze me on how she writes down her thoughts and how brave she was to travel alone and discover who she really is as a person after such a bad divorce and  a depressing break-up then found a new love in the end. Isn't it sweet? She found her true love in a place where she least expects it. I can't wait to watch the movie based on this book. I can't seem to imagine Julia Roberts playing as Elizabeth. Hmmm. :)

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
My cousin introduced me with this one. The title is so catchy. How Mitch Albom wrote the book was soo unique. It was quite short though. It's good for one day read. Haha. I just finished it today actually. Reading has been one of my past times while I sit here facing the computer and got nothing to do for the whole day at work. Haha. Without this, I could have died with boredom. Haha. You'll really learn and realize things about life while reading this book; Reality regarding death and life.

[L-R: Kim, Arlyn, Me, Ron]

Since I haven't blogged for quite some time now and I can't seem to sleep tonight, I'll just blog about these guys in the picture. Heee. :3

They're my closest friends that I've met in College aside from Arlen that I've known way back in high school. I feel so blessed to have these persons to share my laughter, tears and what-not's about life. From the smallest things that make me laugh til the serious matters I deal with life. They really bring out the worst and best in me. Haha! I already said this on Facebook but I'll just say this again here, "Though I don't have the ONE, I'm still thankful to have you three."

Arlyn. As mentioned I met her way back in high school. We were classmates in our Freshmen year. We weren't that close before until our paths crossed again in College. She's my best friend and one that I can really consider as part of our family. I tell her just about anything and everything about my life. She's the long lost sister I never had. :P

Ron. The guy that keeps joking and laughing about the tiniest mistakes that you make. Haha. Before I always lose my temper when he jokes but now I kinda get used to it, I think. Though he seems to be happy and all but deep inside I  know he's not. Bwahaha. I really thought before when we were not yet friends, he's some serious guy who doesn't have a life and the guy with a poker face. Hahaha. But I was absolutely, WRONG!

Kim. The ideal guy who seems to be so good and all but gradually learns to be small-brained. Haha! Yes he is ideal for me since he doesn't have any vices aside from loving too much like Ron. Haha. I really thought guys were drama-less until I met them. :P He's a true example of a gentleman. No joke. I really wish that I'll meet someone with the same qualities as Kim. Haha!

Thanks for coming into my life! :)
