Family outing at Hadsan

Last July 3, 2011, some members of our big family got together at Hadsan Beach Cove. It was a pre-celebration (or was it post?) for my Godchild's birthday, and a send off too? Too bad though Lola wasn't able to come cause she easily gets tired on long trips. Nevertheless, it served as a bonding Sunday for us who came.

We convoyed from our place to the beach past nine and reached Hadsan just before lunch. There were quite a number of people when we got there. Once we were settled, put on some sunblock, took some shots, and off we go to take a plunge until late in the afternoon. So, I'll just close this entry with pictures since my beautiful *insert sarcasm here* cousin FINALLY uploaded the pictures on Facebook! Haha!

Summer 2011

I know it's late but I just want to blog about what happened during summer this year. :)

[26 April 2011] My summer kicked-off with an unexpected beach swimming in Punta Engano, Mactan. It was realllyyyy hot that day and it was noon time. I couldn't resist the sea inviting me to take a plunge amidst the scorching heat of the sun. Who am I to refuse? Haha.

[30 April 2011] For the first time, Mama permitted me to go with my friends to go swimming at Tubod Flowing Waters, Minglanilla. I was really hyped that she said yes.:DD

[06 May 2011] Camotes!!! Was finally back at Camotes after sooo many years. I just love the beach there.

So that was it for my Summer. Hope you enjoyed yours too as much as I did. :)

Book Cravings

Is there such thing as book cravings? If there is, then that's what I'm having right now. I want to read good books but I don't have the luxury of time and money. Too bad, isn't it? Haaay. Maybe, I can make amends to my daily schedule/routine to make time for reading but still I don't have the money. Haha! I am currently bankrupt as we speak since I just bought a camera last weekend. Oh well, I couldn't wait for the next pay day or maybe I can ask my mom to buy me a book?! Hmmm.. /winks

And also, my Birthday is coming up. Twenty-two more days and I'll be turning twenty-one. I am getting old but as what I've read somewhere, "Age is just an issue of the mind and matter. If you don't mind it, it won't matter". Wahaha. What a great excuse. :p 

This year, I want to celebrate my birthday with my family and as well as my "friends". Friends who have always been there for me through good times and bad times. What's the point of spending your special day with people who aren't that special to you or those who you'd see and hear about when there are events coming up and not when you just need someone to talk to about anything? Think about it. I know I have a point on this. :)

It's the time of the year that we, Filipinos remember our departed loved ones. Today, the whole family went to Queen City Memorial Gardens to visit our family members who already died. We brought candles, flowers and prayed the Holy rosary there. 

When the heat was already unbearable, we decided to go and eat our lunch somewhere. Went to Family Choice, Royal Concourse, Ayala but they were all close for the holiday. So we were off to our last resort, SM and waited for a couple of minutes for them to open along with a lot of people. We had Chinese for lunch (brunch in my case) at Flavors of China at the Northwing. Then we were headed home. :)

//OT: I think I might cut my hair short again since it's becoming dry already or some hot oil treatment will help. >.<

South Trip on a Sunday

We went to the Sanctuary of Mama Mary at Simala, Sibonga today. The place really changed a lot since the last time we were there. Mama Mary's house is spacious already though the construction isn't done yet. It's like a castle. That wouldn't be possible if it weren't for all Mama Mary's devotees.

Then we got lost in Argao looking for the beach we used to go to. Haha. We ended up staying at some park in Argao. :)) Better luck next time.

1st Week of August

My first week of August is a hectic one. -.-

It's my Grandmother's birthday on Tuesday. She's supposed to be admitted in the hospital today but she insisted not to and push through with her birthday celebration. On that day, her children and her co-teachers before will be eating out. I probably can't come with them because I have classes on 1:30pm. Tsk. Then there'll be a mini salo-salo at her place on the afternoon with the family. :)

We'll be passing our Case Study on August 5 and I haven't started with it! Haha! Yey for procrastination. I already have links for my references but I haven't laid out my thoughts on MS Word. Haay. I should start tomorrow morning. Promise. ;)

The day after that will be our Acquaintance Party, themed "The Celebration" 4:30pm at the Grand Convention Center. I have OJT that day; will probably duty in the morning then prepare for the party on the afternoon. I still don't have something to wear though. Haha! I'll go outfit hunting this week with Arlyn for sure. :D

Then on Saturday morning, we'll be having our first examination on our Software Engineer subject. Coverage will be from the beginning until the discussion last meeting. Gawwd. D:
